The Grand Egyptian Museum

As mentioned during our launch for the 2023 Cruise and the 2022 Landlocked, one of the many sights to see in Egypt includes the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The Grand Egyptian Museum is located a little outside of Cairo, just a stone’s throw away from the Pyramids of Giza, and is believed to be the new crown jewel of Egypt. The cavernous museum is anticipated to display around 100,000 artefacts, 20,000 of which will be exhibited for public viewing for the first time. This museum is said to be one of the largest, most modern, and most renowned museums in the world. I cannot wait to see it!

Below is a short clip of the newly finished Grand Egyptian Museum scheduled to open in November 2022.
