The Blue Danube – Roundtrip Budapest

Esztergom is a city in northern Hungary, 46 kilometres northwest of the capital Budapest. It lies in Komárom-Esztergom county, on the right bank of the river Danube, which forms the border with Slovakia there.

Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is set along the Danube River by the border with Austria and Hungary. South of Melk, gardens surround Renaissance Schallaburg Castle, which hosts cultural exhibitions.

Salzburg is an Austrian city on the border of Germany, with views of the Eastern Alps. The city is divided by the Salzach River, with medieval and baroque buildings of the pedestrian Altstadt (Old City) on its left bank, facing the 19th-century Neustadt (New City) on its right.
